BRICK MAKING

With the on-going works of Don Bosco Primary School Block II construction, the community had decided to make their own bricks in order to cut some costs. The process went on well first though failed at last when the engineer recommended a different type of bricks. He said, “These bricks are not good for a flat”

Uganda is ranked first among the countries with the most entrepreneurs. (https://www.startuprounds.com/entrepreneurial-country-world-hint-not-u-s/) Uganda adults get involved in different activities including brick making with the aiming getting a profit. The reason for this write up therefore is to show the reader how Don Bosco CALM plays part in activities that most people take as low.

WE BID YOU FAREWELL SHEKIUNA

On the 5^th of September, our lovely Shekiuna left for America after spending about three months helping in the education of Don Bosco Primary School pupils. It was very interesting to see her share with the pupils, teachers and social workers.

ALL THE BEST FOR THIRD TERM

On the 3^rd of September, the first group of our boys reported back to school. This lot consisted of both Primary and Secondary candidates from Bombo. We thank them for the discipline that they portrayed during the holidays. Besides the discipline, these boys have been very influential choristers during Sunday Masses. They left in the afternoon with the aid of Uncle Felix who escorted them to the school. We pray for them as journey through this final term and as they prepare to sit for their final examinations.
