Container of the clothes at Don Bosco Namugongo

After receiving the last container that contained books, we are always eager to hear the word “container”. After few days of serious prayer Father Jean Marie Mushibwe comes and tells us that our prayers had been answered and there after mentioned of the container and this made all of us to clap our hands. Few days the container was just in the place’s vicinity and soon we were offloading it with a lot of serene smile and laughter. Now everyone was curious to know what really the containers contained; to their surprise: there were a lot of clothes in forms of jackets, shirts, bags among others. We are looking forward to living a physical smart life with all these donations and therefore hope to pray more and more as our prayers are the cause of all these as Don Bosco used to argue his boys pray in case of any need or problem.

Good friday at Don Bosco Calm

There are times, in our lives, when God allows things to happen and we ask: “ why has it to be this way?” The innocent who suffer. The young children who die. The parents taken way from their family by sickness and death. The cripple who drags himself on the street. The poor and the weak who suffer from injustice. Those who are not given a fair judgment when they are brought to court. “ why has it to be this way?” we do not understand. But, one day we will.... when we are glorified with Him. Then, we will see the wisdom of His kingship. For now, he asks us to trust Him. And to keep on following Him.

It was on Thursday at 12.35 am when Fr Richard arrived at Don Bosco Calm. Salesians, Uncles, Auntie, Volunteers and Boys were there to welcome him.

On 26th June 2013, students of Majorine College Form had an excursion trip a field work at Kasenyi fish landing site in Entebbe.

Youth alive festival Uganda central region 2013.This festival took place at Youth Sharing Centre – Kampala on 15th June 2013. Eight schools participated in the festival and all were Schools except Don Bosco – CALM. Items on a competitive basis were poems, skits and fine art piece from each school.
