In order to prepare our boys for a firm Christian foundation, we holding catechism classes to help them receive sacraments of baptism, holy Eucharist and confirmation. The classes are always held on every Sunday between 11:30AM to 12:45PM with the help of Mr. Daniel Kasule who is also among the boys who were groomed by the community of CALM. The classes further feature motivating and inspiring religious clips that help the boys cope up with the teaching so easily.
MAKERERE COLLEGE CANDIDATES BLESSED
Among the Christians of Don Bosco CALM is Makerere College School. These committed Catholic students have been taking part in our church programs including the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. They always have their Mass at 7:30 AM every Sunday. Despite this, some of the students have gone an extra mile of even sparing some of their time to come and share it with Mother Mary at the Grotto especially in this Marian month.
Yesterday happened probably to be last Mass for the S.6 candidates of MACOS due to the fact of them beginning their final National exams. The candidates were blessed and prayed for. They thanked Don Bosco Community for welcoming them always. We wish them success in their exams and also pray for the incoming cabinet (S.5) to take on with the same or even a greater spirit.
HARVEST ACADEMY MEETS DON BOSCO PRIMARY SCHOOL
Rev. Br. Hubert with the Headteacher officially welcoming the visitors.
The afternoon of Thursday the 28th of October saw Harvest Academy steeping on the ground of Don Bosco Primary School. Clad in white shirts and khaki shorts and skirts, the pupils walked smartly dressed with the accompaniment of their teachers. They were warmly welcomed by the headmaster who later invited the Administrator of the place to officially welcome everybody.
The corresponding programmes were introduction, games, music, sharing and interaction. Harvest Academy brought a variety of gifts to our school. It was really impressing to see the young pupils struggle to share with one another. How I wish this spirit is cultivated in all the schools of Uganda!
After all the programmes were tapped, our pupils bid farewell to the pupils of Harvest Academy. It was really scintillating, everybody was happy and the schools were blessed to make new friends.
Bravo Harvest Academy; Bravo Don Bosco Primary School.

THE OCTOBER MEETING
Rev.Fr. Ellie, the Rector chaired the meeting with boys
On the 21st of October, the Salesian Community of Don Bosco CALM had a special meeting with boys. The boys were given freedom to express their minds and were requested to come out with different kinds of views and points that can help them embrace CALM as a better place. They went ahead to tell the Salesian Community their challenges and listed different areas that needed a change.
After their views, the Salesian Confreres thanked the boys for addressing certain issues, advised them on certain issues and promised to implement certain ideas from these boys in the near future. The following Monday saw the Salesian Community meeting again with the social workers and reminded them of their duties and called upon their concern and love for all the boys.
