Fr. Ellie Mingling Posho that came from our maize
Just today; the cook, the children and all who witnessed were shocked to see the Rector taking part in the cooking. The rector mingled posho like an expert cook. It was interesting to see him prepared the food that came from our garden. The same maize we planted, weeded and harvested was the same maize he was preparing for the boys to share.

Piglets breastfeeding
From the mating day, the pig takes three months, three weeks, three days, three hours and e.t.c to deliver its pups. The same period for our pigs still hold; on 10th of Sunday, one of the pigs gave birth to eleven lively and healthy piglets. Am not aware of the number of males and female piglets but I will let you know very soon. The pigs are now really multiplying at a surprising rate. We just worried of where to shelter them but most probably we might come out with expansion plans of the project.

With the on-going works of Don Bosco Primary School Block II construction, the community had decided to make their own bricks in order to cut some costs. The process went on well first though failed at last when the engineer recommended a different type of bricks. He said, “These bricks are not good for a flat”
Uganda is ranked first among the countries with the most entrepreneurs. The reason for this write up therefore is to show the reader how Don Bosco CALM plays part in activities that most people take as low.

On the 5th of September, our lovely Shekiuna left for America after spending about three months helping in the education of Don Bosco Primary School pupils. It was very interesting to see her share with the pupils, teachers and social workers.
